Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers about how we deliver web and mobile products, ecommerce and marketplaces, and business systems like CRM, ERP, PIM, and POS—all mapped to what we actually offer on our services page.
Working with Spygar
What does Spygar actually build?
We deliver custom software: websites and web apps, mobile apps, ecommerce stores and marketplaces, and business systems including CRM, ERP, PIM, and POS. Everything is tailored to your workflows—not generic templates glued together.
How do you choose the technology stack?
We match the stack to your product, team, and constraints. Common choices include Laravel and Node for backends, React or Vue for web UIs, Flutter or React Native for mobile, and integrations with payment, logistics, and ERP tools you already use.
How long does a project usually take?
Scope drives the calendar. A focused marketing site or MVP might be weeks; a CRM, PIM, or marketplace with integrations often runs months. After discovery we give you a phased plan with milestones—not a vague “it depends” with no dates.
How is pricing structured?
We use fixed phases after discovery where the scope is clear, and time-and-materials or retained teams when the roadmap evolves. You get estimates tied to documented assumptions so both sides know what changes trigger a replan.
Do you support and maintain software after launch?
Yes. We offer monitoring, security updates, bug fixes, and feature work on a schedule that fits you. Launch is the start of operations, not the end of our relationship.
Can you integrate with our existing systems?
That is core to what we do. We connect via APIs, webhooks, file feeds, or database links—whether your data lives in an older ERP, a SaaS tool, or spreadsheets you need to retire safely.
Web development & design
Do you build only websites, or full web applications?
Both. We ship marketing and content sites, and also dashboards, internal tools, customer portals, and API-backed applications with authentication, roles, and reporting.
How do you handle performance and SEO?
We plan for fast first loads, sensible caching, and clean URLs and metadata. For content-heavy sites we align structure and templates with SEO best practices so search engines and users get a clear, fast experience.
What is included in your web design process?
We clarify goals and users, then move through wireframes and UI design to implementation. You get responsive layouts, consistent components, and accessibility-minded patterns—not one-off screens that break on mobile.
Mobile app development
Native apps, cross-platform, or both—what do you recommend?
We build native iOS/Android when you need maximum platform-specific behavior, and Flutter or React Native when you want one codebase with strong shared UI. We recommend based on your features, budget, and who will maintain the app long term.
Do you publish apps to the App Store and Google Play?
Yes. We handle build configuration, store listings, screenshots guidance, and submission. We also plan for updates, crash reporting, and minimum OS versions so stores do not reject builds for policy gaps.
Ecommerce & marketplaces
Can you build a custom store instead of only using Shopify or WooCommerce?
Yes. We extend popular platforms when that is the fastest path, and we build custom ecommerce when you need unique catalog rules, B2B pricing, or deep integration with inventory and ERP. The right answer comes from your operations, not our default template.
How do you approach payments, taxes, and checkout?
We wire in gateways appropriate for your markets (cards, wallets, UPI where relevant), design clear checkout flows, and make sure webhooks and reconciliation support your accounting—so paid orders do not get lost in spreadsheets.
What is involved in building a multi-vendor marketplace?
Beyond selling your own products, marketplaces need vendor onboarding, listings, search, payouts, commissions, and often moderation. We design those flows so the platform stays trustworthy as you add sellers and volume.
CRM & sales systems
Why a custom CRM instead of only using off-the-shelf software?
Custom fits when your pipeline, fields, automations, and reports match how you really sell—not how a generic CRM assumes you work. We integrate with email, telephony, and your website so reps stop duplicating data.
Can you migrate our leads and history from spreadsheets or another CRM?
Usually yes, with a mapping and cleanup phase. We plan imports, deduplication rules, and a cutover window so you do not lose context on active deals.
ERP, PIM & POS
What scope do you cover for ERP-style projects?
We focus on modules and integrations that matter for your business: finance and operations touchpoints, inventory, procurement, HR-related workflows, and reporting—connected to your real data sources instead of isolated spreadsheets.
Why invest in a PIM alongside ecommerce?
When you sell across web, marketplaces, and retail, product data diverges without a single source of truth. A PIM centralises attributes, media, and approvals so every channel gets consistent, compliant information.
Can POS talk to our online store and warehouse?
That is the usual goal: shared inventory, consistent prices, and sales visible in one reporting layer. We design sync rules and offline behavior so stores keep trading even when connectivity drops briefly.
